Mizzou-Rah! Candle #15
Sixty hours of grapefruit, citrus, and evergreen from a hand-poured soy candle — and yes, it's Mizzou.
That's not a small thing. Most novelty spirit candles lean hard on the logo and soft on everything else — a weak throw, a short burn, a waxy finish that lingers wrong. This one earns its shelf space on scent alone: a bright, clean citrus-forward opening that settles into something woodsier and grounding, the kind of fragrance that works as well on a home office desk in January as it does during a tailgate watch party. The Mizzou pride is real, but so is the candle.
Hand-poured soy burns cooler and cleaner than paraffin, which means you get a more even melt, less soot, and a scent that releases gradually rather than hitting all at once and fading. At 60 hours of burn time, this isn't a one-game candle — it's the whole season.
- 60-hour burn time — significantly longer than most novelty or gift-tier candles
- Hand-poured soy wax — burns cleaner and cooler than paraffin, with a more consistent scent throw
- Scent profile: grapefruit, citrus & evergreen — bright and invigorating up top, with a green, grounding finish
- Mizzou theme — designed for University of Missouri fans and alumni
- Gift-ready presentation — works beautifully as a graduation, game-day, or housewarming gift
To get the most out of this soy candle, trim the wick to about a quarter inch before each burn — it keeps the flame steady and the scent clean. On the first light, let it burn long enough for the melt pool to reach the edges of the jar; that sets the memory of the wax and prevents tunneling on every burn after. Keep it away from drafts, and when there's about half an inch of wax left, it's time to retire it rather than burn it down to the bottom. A warm rinse and a little dish soap will clean out the jar if you want to repurpose it — which, with a candle this good-looking, you probably will.
