Kirkwood Missouri Candle #1

Regular price $40

Mandarin orange and vanilla fills a room — bright citrus up front, warm vanilla settling in underneath, the kind of scent that makes people walk in and ask what's burning. This Kirkwood Missouri Candle is hand-poured in small batches using a clean-burning soy wax blend, which means it throws that fragrance evenly from first light to last, without the sooty flicker of paraffin alternatives. It's the candle you put on the coffee table before company comes and leave out long after because the vessel looks right there.

  • Fragrance: mandarin orange and vanilla — citrus-forward with a warm, grounding base
  • Wax: small-batch soy wax blend for a clean, even burn without soot or toxins
  • Production: hand-poured in small batches using high-quality fragrance oils
  • Burns evenly from edge to edge, minimizing wax tunneling
  • Timeless vessel design that holds its place on a shelf or tabletop after the wax is gone
  • Suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, entryways, and gifting occasions equally

To get the best burn from your soy wax candle, trim the wick to about a quarter inch before each use — a long wick is the main reason candles smoke or burn unevenly. On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edges of the vessel before extinguishing; that sets the memory ring and keeps future burns clean and even. Avoid burning for more than four hours at a stretch, and keep the candle away from drafts that can cause uneven melting. Once the wax is spent, the container cleans up easily with warm soapy water — the Ella B Candles vessel is worth keeping. A little care goes a long way with a small-batch candle this well made.
